Ingredients

250g pork carrots balkan red peppers diced garlic ginger 1 tbsp red oil fermented bean paste green onion

Sauce

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1.5 tbsp balsamic vinegar (a bit sweeter)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • ~2/3 cup water

Directions

  1. Cut pork into strips
  2. Julienne red peppers and carrots into 2 inch strips
  • i did not have 木耳. So after putting in oil, 1tbsp 红油豆瓣酱, waiting 1m for oil to turn red, I put in garlic, ginger, and waiting 20-30 seconds for it to fry. Then, I directly poured in sauce mix. and then I put in carrots / red pepper. After it softened a bit, I put in 葱. To not overcook the pork, I added it in after sauce reduced at least half way. And lastly I put in pork, mix everything, lower heat, reduce.

  • instead of 莴笋, i used carrots and montenegro red pepper.
