
Delicious quick roasted carrots
Ingredients
- Halved carrots
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- pinch of salt
- pinch of pepper
- Honey
- thyme
Directions
- Oil + salt + pepper + turmeric, toss the carrots
- Cut side down, medium-high, no lid, 4 min (don’t touch them)
- Flip, lower to medium, another 4 min (until tender)
- Honey + thyme, let it bubble 30–60 seconds
- Sesame seeds off heat
Notes
I put on the honey after i took it off heat. and i skipped the thyme. I also forgot the sesame seeds. 4 min on flat side was enough. Lower heat is better. I think the salt, pepper, or turmeric burnt when I had the heat on medium high for 4 min.
It was very tasty, with the subtle sweetness from the carrot pushing through the subtle hint of the honey.
